AI, Robotics & Tech
Local AI, agent research, software, electronics, robotics, and experimental systems.
I'm Vega Lyrae, a scientist-themed VTuber who builds AI agents, works on robotics, makes music, and streams horror games.
My work spans livestreaming, AI research, game integrations, and original music.

Operational AI VTuber / Active development
A chaotic, sassy chimera dragon girl created in my laboratory. Aurora is a big part of the stream's identity, and my primary ongoing AI project.
She's an operational AI VTuber who participates in livestreams, interacts conversationally, and uses tools and supporting systems. She's also an ongoing platform for experiments in AI behavior, persistent memory, and adaptive agents.
I'm continuing to expand what Aurora can do, from new software and game interactions to longer-term experiments involving robotics and physical environments.

My original synthetic voice project, developed under Constellation Virtual Media. An experimental voicebank is available to beta testers upon inquiry.
The broader open-source framework is still in development.

I'm building an independent robotics and electronics workspace around an industrial Denso robotic arm. The next stage involves getting the hardware operational and expanding the setup with sensors, electronics, and custom end effectors.
Longer-term experiments will explore connecting autonomous AI agents with physical systems.
Follow the lab's progress on TwitchModding experiments with Balatro, Minecraft, Voices of the Void, Animal Crossing, Cyberpunk, and whatever catches my attention next.
Individual projects are at different stages of development. Animal Crossing is an experimental sandbox built on existing work.
Talk games and mods in DiscordI'm studying computer science and mechatronics engineering while building on years of experience working with computers, networks, and technical systems.
A major goal of my work is developing capable, reliable, and controllable AI agents. I'm particularly interested in systems that can learn from interactions, use tools, and eventually operate in physical environments.
Much of my current work involves experimenting with AI behavior, persistent memory, model adaptation, and live interaction through Aurora. I'm also assembling the hardware and robotics lab needed to explore embodied AI more directly.
Some of these ideas are already working experiments. Others are longer-term research goals. Safety, observability, and controllability guide how I want to develop them.

Outside the lab, I spend a lot of time making music. I produce original songs, covers, and music videos using virtual singers, including Synthesizer V, Vocaloid, and custom voicebanks I've developed.
I handle the creative production myself, from arranging and tuning vocals to mixing the finished tracks. I've also built some of my own tools to make the workflow easier.
Aurora's singing voice is part of that work. I also experiment with letting her participate conversationally in the creative workflow, while I handle the composition and production.
